Give to Blue Day 2022

Give to Blue Day is a 24-hour fundraising on Wednesday, March 16, that will start at 12:01 a.m. and run through 11:59 pm.

You can make a joyful gift to any area of campus and we encourage you to find something that has a special meaning to you. Whether you are passionate about supporting a priority in one of our academic colleges, an athletic team, student organization, funding experiential learning opportunities or any number of other options, you can direct your gift to exactly what you want to support. If you don't see the area you want to support, you can do a keyword search for a specific fund or priority on the main Give to Blue Day page.

Give to Blue Day is Indiana State University’s fourth annual day of giving. It is a 24-hour fundraising and engagement opportunity for Sycamores all around the world to come together to joyfully give and boldly support Indiana State students, scholarships, and programs .

Matches and Challenges are gift commitments from other Sycamores to help encourage greater participation and to increase the overall excitement on Give to Blue Day. Donors can "challenge" others to join them in supporting a certain area, program or priority, by making a commitment to give a certain amount when their challenge goal is met. Challenges may be tied to the number of donors, number of donations, or the total dollars contributed. Matches work specifically to "match" every dollar that is given to an area, thus doubling the impact of each contribution. In order to help unlock one of these challenges or matches, find an area that is important to you and see what is available. You can even create some of your own!

Since Give to Blue Day is a 24-hour fundraising effort, we encourage you to make your gift online and join in the excitement of the day. You can also call 812.237.6100 to connect with a member of the University Advancement team to make a gift or discuss other options that may be available.

Since we only have 24 hours, and our goal is to reach as many donors as possible, you can help us spread the work by leveraging your social network and inviting others to join you in supporting ISU! The easiest way to do that is to sign up as a social ambassador. Once you are a social ambassador, you'll have access to a variety of images and messaging to use on your social media channels. You will also receive a unique giving link to share so that when people accept your invitation to support Give to Blue Day, you'll be able to measure and track your impact!

You can also share your ISU stories and memories on social media using the hashtag #GivetoBlueDay or #GivetoBlue22 so others will hear about this special day and make their own gift. The more you share, the more successful Give to Blue Day will be!

All gifts received on Give to Blue Day are considered tax-deductible contributions to the ISU Foundation, to the extent allowed by IRS guidelines. Once you make your gift, you will receive an email that will serve as your official tax receipt.
